Baia Santa Margherita
an excellent example of sustainable tourism
Before arriving to San Vito Lo Capo and passing by the village of Castelluzzo, you can admire one of the most pristine stretches of the western coast in Sicily; we are talking about the stretch of coast that goes from Monte Cofano to Macari. Here is the beautiful Bay of Santa Margherita. A beautiful place for the clearness of its water and the Mediterranean setting in which it is located .
It is a good alternative to the beach of San Vito Lo Capo expecially in the days of grecale winds and certainly a must for those who love to explore the natural beauty of our land.
The beach is quiet and served by a small bar; you can also rent umbrellas and sunbeds.
Thanks to a little train that connects the beach to the car park you can visit all the little bays along the coast. Some of these are sandy while other are rocky or made of pebbles. This Bay is really close to the Natural Reserve of Monte Cofano.
An unforgettable experience for young and older.
A beautiful sea and a breathtaking nature make this side of the coast a little paradise where you can admire fantastic sunsets.
